Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda Vikas Sharma today chaired a meeting to review the registration of beneficiaries under Ayushman Bharat –Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana-SEHAT Scheme (AB-PMJAY-SEHAT) and generation of Golden Cards in the district.

On the occasion, threadbare deliberations were held on the status and achievements made under AB-PMJAY-SEHAT in the district.The meeting also discussed in detail the modalities for speeding up the registration of all beneficiaries and directed the concerned to redouble efforts to achieve 100 percent  saturation.

The concerned were asked to hold special camps in each block, in coordination with the health department, to facilitate easy and smooth registration of beneficiaries.The DC also directed the concerned authorities to start Information Education and Communication (IEC) activities by roping in all concerned departments for creating mass awareness to speed up registration process in all Medical Blocks in the next couple of days.

The I/c District Coordinator CSC was strictly directed to mobilize the VLEs in their respective areas, while PO ICDS  was directed to complete the ongoing survey at AWC level and liaison with the concerned VLEs and health department for the better outcome within the shortest possible time.

Among others, the meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner Doda Pran Singh, PO ICDS Shahida Parveen, DIO Doda Dr Versha Sharma, BMOs (All), CDPOs, District Coordinator AM PMJAY Dr Aadil Farooq, Manager CSC, Distt Information System Manager Ms Mahrukh Iqbal and other concerned officers/officials.
