DLTFC clears 35 PMREGP loan cases

District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) today sanctioned 35 cases under Prime Minister Rural Employment Generation Programme (PMREGP) here at its meeting chaired by District Development Commissioner, Vikas Kundal.

Officers present in the meeting included GM DIC, Ashwini Sharma; Lead District Manager JKB, Cluster Head JKB ; representatives of RESETI; District Officer KVIB, Ayaz Ahmad Khan and other members of the DLTFC.

It was given out in the meeting that the cases approved for the current financial year were sponsored by Khadi Village Industries Board.“As many as 35 cases of KVIB were cleared for a loan amount of Rs 2.56 crore. The cases so approved will provide employment opportunities to about 150 unemployed youth of the district” the meeting was told.

The DC enjoined upon the sponsoring agencies to ensure timely disbursement of loan assistance to meet the very purpose of the scheme of providing self employment opportunities to the unemployed youth.

He also asked for spreading mass awareness among unemployed and educated youth about livelihood generating programmes launched by the government. The cases so cleared include diverse nature of activities Dairy farming, hardware, karyana, transport activities, readymade and other income generating activities.
