Liger, an upcoming sports drama starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, recently released its trailer. Because he is a hybrid of a lion and a tiger, Vijay portrays an MMA fighter with the ring name "Liger." Along the way, it is revealed that he also struggles with speech, and he uses the ring to vent his frustrations.
Speaking more about the trailer, Ramya Krishnan portrays Vijay's mother in the movie, while Ananya Panday plays the love interest. However, the centrepiece of the video is boxing great Mike Tyson, who appears to be playing a bad guy. Mike Tyson has appeared in the first two instalments of The Hangover movies.

While sharing the excitement for the trailer, Vijay took to his social media and shares a still from the social media. He posted a scene from the trailer in which he fights goons. He wrote, "India, We give you. Mass. Action. Entertainment. The LIGER Trailer!"
The trailer is power packed and solid. Regarding the film’s credits and release date, Liger is slated to be released in theatres on August 25 in multiple languages. It has been written and directed by Puri Jagannadh and the film is jointly produced by Puri Jagannadh, Karan Johar, and Charmme Kaur. Ananya Panday will make her Telugu debut with this film.
