Juhi Manhas Pathania, Vice Chairperson DDC Udhampur inaugurated and formally kick started work on Ralta to Jarsal road being funded by NABARD amid thunderous applause and appreciation from the locals of the area.
The road would be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 02.76 crore. The said road provides connectivity to around 2000 people of the area.While addressing people, she called for qualitative development and time bound completion of projects.
She stressed on early completion of developmental projects and directed officers to ensure prompt delivery of services to the public and ensure timely work completion for the general public.
She called for immediate provision of electricity to such houses which have been provided connections under SAUBHAGYA. These households are getting electricity bills every month but they are still living in the dark, she said.
She underlined the role of Panches/Sarpanches in ensuring a proactive and participative administration, and sought their cooperation in dealing with vital issues of public importance. She assured them all support to ensure implementation of developmental projects in their areas.
She was accompanied by local Sarpanches, Panches and PRIs of the area.Those present in the inauguration are Bhag Chand -panch w.no. 1 Kuldeep Singh, Makhan Phalel Singh, Ramesh Singh, Baldev Singh,Lochan singh, Charan Das, Meena Rani- mahila morcha, Mohinder Sharma,Sanjeev Singh Sanjay Dubey.
