District Development Commissioner Reasi, Babila Rakwal today chaired a meeting of the line departments to review the progress achieved under District Capex Budget 2022-23.The District Development Commissioner, emphasized on the completion of ongoing works as per the approved plan and after fulfilling all the codal formalities as per the laid down norms.
She also reiterated that timely completion of development plans and its visible impact can be gauged from the benefit so availed or provided to common masses.Speaking at the meeting, the DDC asked the concerned Officers to bring the issues and the problems being faced by the implementing agencies into the notice of the District Administration regarding so that the same can be resolved at the earliest.
The DDC also directed the officers of different departments like Minor Irrigation work, PWD, JJM, Health, Education, Youth Services and Sports, Rural Development to complete the works in stipulated time frame and as per the guidelines of the Finance department.
She further stressed upon maintaining close coordination at all levels of Administration and with the PRIs for speedy completion of development works across the district.The sectoral officers were asked to finish their ongoing works at an earliest and also complete the tendering and allotment process of all new works by the end of July.The meeting was attended by ADDC Jyoti Salathia; CPO Sunita Kanchan; ACD Anirudh Rai; CMO, CEO and XENs.
