Chairman District Development Council Reasi, Saraf Singh Nag along with Deputy Commissioner, Babila Rakwal today convened Block Diwas Public outreach camp here at Panchayat Ghar Hutt of block Katra.

 The Deputy Commissioner started the proceedings by interacting with the PRIs and locals. She listened to their grievances and directed the concerned officers to ensure time bound redress of their genuine issues.

 Prominent issues raised at the meeting included opening of closed railway road at W.No.02&03, opening of KV School, construction of toilet complex at W.No.04 Panchayat Halqa Hutt, verification of the illegal power connections, disposal of Animal waste, appointment of One GramSewak  for each Panchyat, preference to locals in the employment in national products, notification of power curtailment schedule and conduct of Plantation drive in the area.

Several issues of Water, Power, Road, Ration, Transport, Nutrition, Education, Health were resolved on the spot after face to face deliberation with District Officers and for several other issues DC fixed timeline for their resolution.

On this occasion, Saraf Singh Nag also listened to grievances raised by the PRIs and the public and issued directions to the concerned quarters for their early disposal.Some issues were also resolved on spot after face to face deliberations between district officers and public representatives.

The Deputy Commissioner also passed directions for completion of developmental works within stipulated time.The camp was also attended by DDC Nirmla Devi, BDC Sham Lal Bhagat, ADDC Jyoti Salathia, ACD Anirudh Rai, SDM Katra Angrez Singh, CMO, CAHO, DSHO, LMO,  XENs among various other district officers  along with PRIs, BDOs, Sarpanchs and Panchs.
