The Minister of State for Steel, Mines, Labour and Employment Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met Minister for Railways, Shri Sadananda Gowda and submitted a Memorandum for the demands of the people of Chhattisgarh. The Minister, requesting for a proposal to make a Railway Terminal at Raigarh, stressed on behalf of the people of Chhattisgarh to connect the Industrial Town of Corba in Chhattisgarh and Lohardaga in Jharkhand. He said that connecting the two states of Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand by a Rail route would help in the speedy Industrial development. Shri Vishnu Deo Sai also requested for the running of Nagpur-Corba-Nagpur Intercity Express of South East Central Railways Train upto Corba once again as Corba is a big Industrial Centre and a large number of people travelling from Corba are facing great difficulties. Vishnu Deo Sai also raised the issue of proposal of cancelling the stoppage of Train No. 12809/12810 Howrah-Mumbai-Howrah of South East Central Railways at Kharsia Railway Station in his Parliamentary Constituency from July 1, 2014. Shri Sai informed the Railway Minister Shri that Kharsia in Chhattisgarh is a big industrial trade centre from where a large number of people travel by this train. Hence the cancellation of stoppage of this train at Kharsia will bring difficulties and hardship to the people of Kharsia. Keeping in view the demands of the large number of people from Chhattisgarh, the Railway Minister assured Shri Vishnu Deo Sai of all possible co-operation on the above matters.
