Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today chaired a meeting of District Level Committee for processing of Forest Right Act (FRA) Claims in the district.In the meeting, 216 claims of beneficiaries pertaining to the Forest Rights Act were cleared.
The Deputy Commissioner directed all the Sub division level Committees to ensure 100 percent disposal of pending cases at SDLC/ FRCs/Gram Sabha level. The meeting was attended by DDC Member, Mendhar, Mia Farooq Ahmed, besides DFO, Suresh Manda, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Zahir Ahmed Kaifi, ACP, Shafiq Mir, District Tribal welfare officer, Adil Shabir, Head Quarter Assistant, Jahangir Hussain and other concerned were present in the meeting.
