District Election Officer, Ramban Mussarat Islam today chaired a meeting of concerned officers and representatives of different political parties regarding rationalization of polling stations, creation of new pollng stations and change of location of existing polling stations.
The meeting was attended by Chairperson, District Development Council, Dr. Shamshad Shan, DDC, Members including Rakesh Singh, Balbeer Singh, Ms. Renuka Katoch, Sarpanches, Panches, Dy. DEO Lal Chand, Ex-MLA, Ashok Kumar and Advocate Arjun Singh besides others representatives of various political parties.
During the meeting, a threadbare discussion was held on different issues including proposals submitted by the AEROs and various political parties with regard to creation of new polling stations and change of location of existing polling stations.Appreciating the concerned for good work, the representatives also put forth their demands for creation of more new polling stations for the convenience of voters.
