District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today chaired a meeting of the concerned officers to review the progress on the construction of houses under PMAY-U in the urban areas of the district.
Officers present in the meeting included CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; Executive Officers MCs and CLTCs.While reviewing the progress on the houses constructed under PMAY-U in the district, the meeting was informed that against the target of 2155 houses, the work on have been Completed 318.
DDC sought a detailed report about the status of geo-tagging, number of houses attached with MIS, payment made till date.He asked the concerned officers to work in a mission mode for the successful implementation of the scheme and ensure that the benefit of the scheme was provided to the last beneficiary.
The DDC also asked the concerned officers to ensure that quality material is used for the construction and also the target was achieved within the shortest possible time.He also directed to ensure the timely payment of the works to the beneficiaries so that the people don't suffer.
