Deputy Commissioner Kapurthala Vishesh Sarangal today reviewed the progress of Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway passing through Kapurthala district.During a meeting with the officials of National Highways Authority, SDMs and Revenue Department, the Deputy Commissioner said that the farmers whose lands have been acquired should immediately get their awards from the SDMs.
He also said that the farmers who have received the award should not sow the next crop in the respective land.Apart from this instructions were issued to the concerned SDMs to expedite the payment to the farmers.
He directed the SDM kapurthala to issue the 3 D notification for remaining villages falling under Kapurthala sub division till July 5.On this occasion, SDM Dr. Kapurthala Jai Inder Singh, Assistant Commissioner cum SDM Bhulath Ranjit Singh, District Revenue Officer G.S. Benipal and other officials were also present.
