The Ayan Mukerji-helmed flick ‘Brahmastra’ has been making headlines right from the time it was announced four years ago. Apart from Ranbir and Alia, many other big stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Southern veteran Nagarjuna, and Bollywood queen Deepika Padukone, will be playing important roles in this movie.

The makers have dropped the most-awaited trailer for the film. It has garnered immense love from the fans and they are elated as the trailer is worth the wait. Soon after the trailer's release, tweeples are urging people to boycott Brahmastra. The same has started trending on Twitter.

Let’s shed light on the same. When digging into this issue, it has been disclosed that Sushant Singh Rajput fans on social media, or SSR fans as they are called, have been trending "Boycott Brahmastra" on Twitter, calling the lead stars Ranbir and Alia "worthless nepo kids".

Not only this, but people also noticed that in one of the scenes Ranbir is entering the temple with shoes. They even say Bollywood leaves no chance to hurt our sentiments towards Sanatan Dharma.

Brahmastra is a tale of good versus evil, with a fight brewing over who will obtain the supreme god's weapon, the 'brahmastra.' Mouni Roy plays the villain Junoon, while Ranbir plays Shiva, who appears to have a particular link to the universe's most wanted weapon. Also, Shah Rukh Khan has also stated that he will appear in the film in an extended cameo role as a scientist. Brahmastra will be released in theatres on September 9th.
