Deputy Commissioner, Avny Lavasa reviewed the functioning of Revenue Department besides and discussed revenue related matters in the district in a meeting held at her office today.The Deputy Commissioner took a detailed review of activities including writing of jamabandis and their digitisation, writing of khasra girdawari registers, attestation of mutations, demarcation of state land, eviction of encroachment from state land, status of disposal of court cases, scanning of revenue documents etc.
The DC set timelines for the concerned officers for speedy submission of details of mutations and updation of Jamabandis/Girdawari.She also asked the officers to launch anti-encroachment drives to vacate State, Kahcharai and common land in their respective jurisdictions. She directed tehsildars for speedy disposal of court cases related to revenue. ADC L&O Sherpa Minga, ADC, ADM Satish Sharma, ACR Vijay Kumar, SDMs and tehsildars along with senior officers from the department were present in the meeting.
