The Lake Conservation and Management Authority (LC&MA) today celebrated the 'World Environment Day'.On the occasion Vice chairman LC&MA, Bashir Ahmad was the chief guest and Arshad Sualeh a renowned artist from Kashmir was guest of honour. The event started with ceremonial plantation drive followed by painting and drawing competition among different schools and Higher Secondaries of Srinagar city.
The winners were awarded with trophies.Vice chairman on the occasion thanked the schools for participating and emphasised upon conserving our environment. The event was concluded with the cleanliness drive and all the students participated in it.The event was attended by Superintending Engineer LCMA, Rafiq Ahmad, Ex, Engineer Ashraf Baba, Project Officer, Gazalla Abdullah and other officers of LCMA.
