Department of Youth Services & Sports Jammu, in collaboration with J&K State Sports Council, today organised a Bicycle rally to mark world bicycle day.Around 200 cyclists including students, Men, Women, Teachers and other government officials took part in the event .

Division Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar flagged off the rally from Hari Niwas Palace which ended at K K Hakku Stadium. Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor GMC Jammu, Rakesh Mangotra  Additional Secretary YSS,  Jatinder Mishra Dy. Director YSS and  Sukhdev Raj DYSSO Jammu were also present.

The main aim of the celebration was to promote brotherhood qualities among youth and save the earth from Global warming by promoting the bicycle as a means of transport.
