Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwa today visited 'My Bhago Armed Forces Preparatory Institute' Sector 66, Industrial Area Mohali.
During this he personally enquire about the various facilities being provided by the Institute and interacted with the Lady Cadets.
Elaborating further, Mr. Sandhwan said that this is the first institute in the country set up in the district for the purpose of providing opportunities for girls to serve in the Army.
He appreciated the facilities being provided to the girls by the institute and the work being done by the staff.
Mr. Speaker conveyed the message to the Lady Cadets that Guru, parents and teachers are equal to God. Apart from this, Mr. Sandhwan also invited Lady Cadets to visit the Punjab Vidhan Sabha.
He said that with hard work any position can be achieved. During this he took a round of the gym, canteen, library and ground of the institute and congratulated the management of the institute.
Major General IP Singh VSM, Director Mai Bhago Institute, Advisor Mrs. Jaspreet Kaur, Psychologist Brigadier KD Singh and IO Col. Rakesh Chopra were also present on the occasion.
