Meanwhile, their relationship came to light when Vignesh Shivan uploaded a photo of Nayanthara in March of last year, in which the actress was seen wearing a ring. Soon after, the photo went viral, and engagement rumours circulated. "It was my engagement ring," Nayan later acknowledged on a chat show. We're both private people, so we didn't want a big ceremony. We will absolutely alert our followers if we decide to marry. Our wedding took place in the company of our immediate family."
