The District Rent Assessment Committee, which met here today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Dr Owais Ahmad, approved 10 rent cases.The rent cases pertained to the R&B Circle Gbl/ Bpr, SICOP, Agriculture, Social Welfare, Sheep Husbandry, Handicrafts and Excise and Taxation.The committee discussed the fixation of rent of various structures occupied by Govt. offices across the district and approved the rates as per 2018 notification.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue Parvaiz Rahim, Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, District officers of concerned departments and other officials besides concerned house owners.Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner asked the officers to pay rent to the concerned owners of land and structures on time and ensure safety of the Government/ rented property.
