AS part of ATHWAAS initiative of the government, a delegation of 25 doctors from Andhra Pradesh (A.P) Tuesday actively participated in the Dal cleanliness drive and cleaned a portion in the lake.They thanked and appreciated the efforts of LCMA for initiating such drives and to make people aware of the importance of cleanliness in the lake and around.They, while talking to the media, appealed to the people, particularly the tourists who visit the valley, to keep the Dal clean by simply not throwing the garbage inside and around the lake. 

In addition the solid waste management drive was carried out at Hadoora nallah in which 25 students from Govt primary School Hadoora have participated in the drive. Students were made aware of the effects of garbage around and the importance of cleanliness.Among others, Project Officer LCMA, Gazalla Abdullah besides was also present on the occasion.
