After the death of Sidhu Moosewala, now Mankirat Aulakh has been making headlines. The singer is getting death threats and due to that, the demand for security. A social media post by a handle linked to gangster Neeraj Bawana has vowed revenge on the Punjab singer’s killing. A Facebook story posted by the handle yesterday said: “Sidhu Moose Wala was our heart, brother.Will give a result in two days”. People and media portals are connecting Aulakh’s name with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and due to that his life is in danger.
Though the singer has also expressed his sorrow for Sidhu’s death now he took to his social media and held a live session. He broke his silence on Sidhu Moose Wala’s death. He denied having anything to do with the assassination of Moose Wala.The Davinder Bambiha gang, for example, claimed on Monday (30 May) that Aulakh was implicated in the death of Moosewala. The Punjabi singer asked news organisations not to post stories without first checking their accuracy. Aulakh also disputed rumours that his manager was involved in Moosewala's death in a video message. On his Instagram account, he posted the video message.
According to previous reports, Aulakh's manager Sachin was also named as a significant suspect by the police for his alleged involvement in the assassination of Sidhu Moose Wala. According to the Davinder Bambiha gang's social media post, Mankirt Aulakh is also accused of extorting money from all Punjabi performers.
Bambiha gang also wrote that Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar should not have killed Moosewala. Reportedly, Aulakh has received death threats and has asked officials to beef up his security. According to accounts, Aulakh got murder threats from the Bambiha gang last month.
Meanwhile, about Sidhu’s death, Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for Moosewala’s murder. Brar, who has close ties to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, said in a Facebook post that he had killed Moose Wala to avenge the death of Middukhera. The gangs and associates of Lawrence Bishnoi and Davinder Bambiha are engaged in a turf war in Punjab.
