A meeting to discuss and deliberate on the exhaustive list of developmental deliverables to be achieved in the financial year 2022-23 was held today under the chairmanship of District Development commissioner Kishtwar Ashok Sharma.The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Sham Lal; Joint Director Planning Mohd Iqbal; Assistant Commissioner Revenue Varunjeet Singh Chanak; Assistant Commissioner Development Atul Dutt Sharma; DPO Sunil Bhutyal besides other district and sectoral officers.
During the meeting, the detailed insight was given to concerned officers regarding monthly, quarterly, half yearly and yearly targets set by the UT Govt.Besides, threadbare deliberations were also conducted on the role and responsibility of each department to achieve the assigned targets.All the departments were asked to focus on the set targets to propel the growth and development in the district by prioritizing the transformative activities in their respective areas and to ensure greater efficiency in overall governance.
The DDC Kishtwar stressed on greater inter-departmental convergence and co-ordination to achieve the desired results in various priority areas set by the UT government within a set timeline.The District officers of the line departments were asked to conduct weekly meetings to monitor the progress to achieve quantifiable results.
