Malaria fever is a type of infectious disease caused by mosquitoes which is caused by the bite of a female Anopheles mosquito. A special type of bacteria is found in this female mosquito, which is known in medical language as Plasmodium. Malaria is highest in monsoon and summer season, because the number of mosquitoes increases significantly these days. Malaria mosquitoes mostly breed in those places where there is dirt, dirty water collects.

Symptoms of malaria can appear in 24 hours to 48 hours. Malaria can also cause kidney and liver dysfunction. Malaria can prove to be fatal if it is not diagnosed and treated on time. Study has found that more than 400 mosquito species in India & over 3500 around the world. While India is targeted to be malaria free by 2030. The other mosquito which is Aedes, causes diseases like dengue, chikungunya & zika virus.

Detailed explanation of 5 types of Malaria:

Plasmodium Falciparum -

A person suffering from this disease becomes completely unconscious. He didn't even know what he was talking about. The patient also feels pain in his head along with feeling very cold. Due to continuous vomiting, a person can also die from this type of fever.

Plasmodium Malariae-

Ithas developmental cycles in the mosquito and in the primate host. When gametocytes are ingested during mosquito feeding, a process called exflagellation of the microgametocyte occurs, resulting in the formation of up to eight mobile microgametes.

Sodium Vivax-

Most of the people suffer from this type of malarial fever, vivax parasite bites mostly during day time. This mosquito causes benign tertian malaria, which starts showing its effect every third day i.e. after 48 hours. The person suffering from this disease has back pain, headache, pain in hands, pain in legs, loss of appetite along with high fever also persists.

Plasmodium Ovale Malaria-

This type of malaria causes benign tertian malaria. Plasmodium malariae is a type of protozoan that is responsible for Benign malaria. However, this malaria is not as dangerous as Plasmodium falciparum or Plasmodium vivax. Quartan malaria occurs in this disease, in which the patient gets fever every fourth day. Apart from this, proteins start coming out of the patient's urine. Due to which there is a lack of protein in the body and the body starts swelling.
