Haryana Home and Health Minister, Anil Vij said that it is our responsibility to make good leaders. He said that now mothers will have to pursue their dream that 'my son should become a good leader', so that he can make an important contribution in the building of the nation.Sh. Vij was addressing the gathering in the program organized on the occasion of 46th death anniversary of Sant Baba Purna Chand Maharaj Ji at BPC Jain Public School, Ambala Cantonment today. The Home Minister said that it is the dream of every mother that my son should become an engineer, doctor, IAS, IPS, but mothers will have to pursue their dream that 'my son should become a good leader',  because even without this we have accepted democracy.  He said that it is also our responsibility to make good leaders.  Unless we make good leaders, it is not possible to run the country's governance system efficiently.  The Home Minister said that so start taking one more dream from today that "I will make my son or daughter a good leader so that she can take this work further by serving".

A nation is not built by cement buildings, but by the culture of its citizens- Vij

Home Minister said that today under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the education sector has taken a new initiative, a new education policy was made in which all the scholars were included so that we could make good citizens.  He said that "a nation is built by the culture of its citizens, not by the cement buildings".  What is the character of the citizens there, that nation is judged on that.  Educational institutions have a great contribution in building a new India.  It is our aim and effort to provide equal education to all.  He said that how to be the citizens of the coming India, they are make in the school, they are made capable, they are made capable of fighting the challenges, they are prepared here by giving them all kinds of education.

There was influence of the British on the education system, our culture was separated from us and limited - Vij

The Home Minister said that our education system was under the influence of the British for a long time.  He did not want to teach and make us capable.  They only needed employees to do the work, so the employees were given as much knowledge as they needed.  Referring to history, he said that Lord Macaulay had come to India long ago, he toured and later went to the Parliament of England and told that he went from east to west and north to south in India.  However, he did not see any man starving.  Unless we take away their culture, we cannot rule there safely.  Lord Macaulay did the work of snatching our culture from us and changed our education system.  Our Guru used to give education and sanskars earlier, which is called complete education.  But where there is only education, there is only alphabet knowledge.  Our culture was separated from us and limited, Sanskrit language was snatched from us, which is full of immense knowledge.  Sh. Vij said that Sanskrit language was snatched from us and the British kept preparing us by making common clerks.  But now the time has changed and under the leadership of Narendra Modi, there has been a change in the education system, due to which the country is moving forward.
