District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today attended the concluding day of Urs of Sain Ilahi Baksh at Battalkote, Loran and paid his obeisance at the shrine.The Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by the DDC Member, Loran, Riaz Naz, Tehsildar Mandi, Shazad Latief Khan besides some other officers.During his visit, the Committee members welcomed the Deputy Commissioner by presenting a Shawal.A large number of devotees from across the district Poonch and adjoining areas attended the congregation.While speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner greeted the devotees and prayed for peace and prosperity in the nation.
He also had Langer with devotees.Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner conducted surprise inspection of the local PHC and Hr. Sec. School Loran.During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with the students, staff Members and took stock of infrastructure and staff strength. The Deputy Commissioner directed the health authorities of PHC Loran to maintain cleanliness and provide efficient health services to people.
