ADC inspects progress on NHW 4 -lanning Project, arrangements for SANJY-2022

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Harbans Lal Sharma, who was also the Collector Land Acquisition, National Highway today conducted an extensive inspection of National Highway from Ramban to Panthyal.During his visit, the ADC took stock of progress on the NH-44 Four Laning Project, besides preparedness being made by the different departments for smooth conduct of ensuing Shri Amaranth Ji Yatra 2022.The ADC also inspected the pace of progress on tunnel projects including T-3 and T-5, besides directing construction agencies to complete tunnels, which will provide safe passage to commuters from Khooni Nallah to Panthyal and Panthyal to Magarkote in stipulated time frame.

The ADC asked construction agencies to complete all works well before the start of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, 2022 as decided in previous meetings chaired by the higher authorities from time to time. He also asked them to ensure maintenance and blacktopping of existing NHW for the convenience of commuters.The ADC also inspected other works including toilet facilities and Rahat Centres being established alongside the NH-44 for SANJY 2022.
