The President, Vice President and Prime Minister on Monday greeted the people of Sikkim on their 'Statehood Day'. President Ram Nath Kovind tweeted, "Greetings to the people of Sikkim on Statehood Day. My best wishes to all the residents of Sikkim for continued growth and prosperity." In his greeting to the people, Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu said, "Greetings to the people of Sikkim on their Statehood Day! Recently, I visited #Sikkim & was captivated by its enchanting natural beauty, vibrant culture & hospitable people. Sikkim's endeavours in organic farming are truly laudable. My best wishes for the prosperity of the state." In a tweet Prime Minister Modi said, "Statehood Day greetings to my sisters and brothers of Sikkim.
