Irrigation and Public Health Minister Vidya Stokes today inaugurated the exhibition of Vatsala Khera, titled 'Symphony of Colours' at Gaiety Theatre, here today. Lauding the efforts of Smt. Khera, the Minister said that the salubrious climate and ambience of Himachal Pradesh was a treasure house for art lovers which not only attracts them instantly but also instigate them to pour their feelings and ideas on the canvass. Smt. Stokes said that the different subjects of the paintings of the artist not only exhibits her vast experience but also shows that she has wide knowledge of various themes as showcased by her in the exhibition which includes those of Mother Earth, Epitome of Love, Blue Horse etc. She said that the exhibition was a Pandora of live colours which provides ample opportunities to the budding artists to learn from the paintings which provides sufficient information of rich cultural legacy of India. Smt. Vatsala Khera said that it was due to the cooperation of her family which motivated her to play with colours. The exhibition would be held till 30th June 2013.
