The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Krittika Jyotsna today chaired a meeting and took stock of availability of essential services and stock position in the district.The DC on the occasion took stock of availability of essential services in the district especially at Sonamarg tourist destination and other remote areas of the district.The concerned officers briefed the DC about the availability of essential commodities and other services in the district.She directed the concerned officers to ensure all essential services are available throughout the district so that people may not face any inconvenience. She said that winter preparedness plans should be followed strictly.He instructed the Heads of Departments to pass necessary directions to the concerned officials, to work in a synchronized manner to achieve the best possible results on ground.

The DC also took stock of availability of essential services in Sonamarg tourist destination including availability of electricity, Water supply, Healthcare and other allied facilities. She instructed the concerned to ensure all facilities are provided to the visiting tourists so that they may not face any inconvenience there.Meanwhile, the DC also reviewed law and order and Covid situation in the district and passed necessary instructions to the concerned regarding implementation of Covid Appropriate Behaviour and other SOPs in the district.The meeting was attended by ADDC Ganderbal, ADC Ganderbal, CPO Ganderbal, ACD Ganderbal, Executive Engineers of R&B, PHE and PDC besides other district officers.
