As part of ongoing ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’ celebrating 75 years of Independence, the Cultural Unit Srinagar of Department of Information and Public Relations today organised a cultural programme at Town Hall, here.During the programme, a series of diverse and colorful cultural items featuring songs on Patriotism and secularism were presented by the artists of the cultural unit of the department.The songs presented on the occasion enthralled the audience and highlighted the values of national importance.Besides, the event witnessed a delightful solo musical performance on Santoor by Mushtaq Ahmad Saznawaz.

The other artists who performed on the occasion include G M Dar Anzwali and G M Khanday Feroze shahe etc. The audience lauded the choice, collection and presentation of the items by artists on the occasion.The programme was organised keeping the Covid-19 SOPs in view and was concluded successfully.People appreciated and enjoyed the programme well.Among others, the programme was attended by Culture officer Srinagar Burhan, besides local  gathering and the officials of the Information department, local artists  etc.
