The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kulgam, Dr Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din today chaired a meeting of officers to review the status of work projects in district under District Capex 2021-22, NABARD and B2V3 works.During the meeting officers from R&B, Education, YSS, Health, Irrigation, PDD and other departments briefed the chair about the physical and financial status of work projects.Regarding the status of NABARD funded works projects, the concerned officers informed  the chair that 36 work projects have been taken under NABARD in R&B, Health, YSS and Irrigation departments out of which 12 work projects have been completed and rest of works are in different stages of completion.It was further informed that under district Capex a total of 68 work projects have been taken in R&B, Education, Health, YSS and Irrigation and 17 works stands completed while most works are at various stages of completion and shall be completed within days.

Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed on the concerned authorities to take all possible measures to accelerate the pace of ongoing works for their time-bound completion.He also cautioned that any kind of laxity in completing the works within the fixed time line will not be tolerated at all.The DC exhorted for mobilizing men and machinery for completing the projects in stipulated time frame besides urged to ensure productive and fruitful utilization of the available resources and to ensure 100 percent expenditure well in time.The meeting was attended by CPO, ACR, CEO and Executive Engineers from R&B, PDD, PHE, Irrigation, DYS&SO besides other officers.
