In view of National Martyrs day, District Administration Ganderbal today observed two minutes of silence during an event here at Mini-Secretariat Ganderbal in the memory of all those Martyrs who laid their lives in the service of the nation.It is pertinent to mention here that on every year 30th January is being observed as National Martyrs day/Shaheed Diwas all over the country and on this day the people of the country pay their tribute to all the freedom fighters who lost their lives during India's independence. January 30th also marks the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.Additional Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba and other senior officers and officials took part in an event and observed two minutes of silence to pay homage to the National heroes to laid their lives for the Nation.
