Upholding its tradition, Indian Army looks after the families of martyrs and maintains close contact with them.To commemorate the supreme sacrifice of the fallen soldiers, Indian Army interacted and felicitated Zeenam Begum wife of Late Sep Mohammad Khalil of 163 Inf Bn TA who made supreme sacrifice during operation Rakshak on  December, 30, 2010.

They also met with the families of Late LNk Farooq Ahmed and Late Nk Mohammad Yusuf at Ramsoo and Zaradi in Ramban District.Indian Army paid homage to martyrs and recalled their gallant act and during interaction with the Veer Naris and wards of the martyrs, their wellbeing was ensured with assurance of continued assistance at all times.During the event, social distancing and other precautionary measures with respect to COVID 19 were duly observed.
