Block Diwas: ADDC Ganderbal listens issues of PRIs of Block Lar

As part of weekly Block Diwas initiative, the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Pir Muzaffar today conducted an interaction programme with the PRI representatives of block Lar at Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat, here.During the interaction programme, Sarpanchs and Panchs of block Lar apprised the ADDC about various basic issues related to revenue, augmentation of water supply and electricity, improvement of roads besides other demands of public importance.The ADDC patiently listened to all the issues and demands put forth by the PRIs and directed the concerned officers to prepare a list of issues/grievances raised and pertaining to their departments that should be resolved at an earliest and resolution shall be shared with the PRIs.

Meanwhile, the ADDC also enquired about the status of ongoing works in block Lar and directed the BDO to ensure monitoring of these works by way of carrying regular field visits and urged PRIs to play their active role in monitoring of ongoing works in their Panchayats and sought their cooperation for timely completion of these works.He also urged the PRIs to aware people in the concerned Halqas about the Covid protocols and other SOPs so that threat of Covid 3rd wave is mitigated in the district.Among others, the interaction programme was attended by CPO, ACP, DySP, Ex. Engineers of various wings, DMO, Dy. CEO, BDO Lar and others concerned.
