The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Shahbaz Ahmed Mirza today conducted an extensive tour of Chadoora to take stock of Snow clearance operation.During the tour, the DC took on spot stock of Snow clearance work and restoration of essential services.He inspected various areas including Surasyar, Dada Ompora, Sogam and other villages. Various public delegations on the occasion called upon the DC and apprised him of their issues and demands.
The DC lauded the concerned departments for timely restoration of electricity and water supply to all affected areas.He said that both men and machinery were out into service and carried out swift Snow clearance operation across the district.He emphasized that snow clearance work shall continue and all link roads and lanes shall also be cleared by the concerned on priority.During visit, the DC also took stock of health care facilities and stressed on providing better patient care to the public.The DC was accompanied by SDM Chadoora, BMO Nagam, Ex. Engineers from PHE, R&B and officers from other concerned departments.
