Haryana Home and Health Minister, Sh. Anil Vij today called upon the people of the state to adopt 'No Mask-No Service' so that the pendamic like Corona can be defeated. He urged the people of the state that to defeat the pendamic like Corona, we all have to follow the rules/protocols of Covid.Sh. Vij said in a tweet today that "An humble request to the Honorable People of Haryana to adopt "No Mask No Service" policy to defeat Corona".
The work of Covid vaccination continues rapidly, so far more than 3 crore 67 lakh beneficiaries have been vaccinated - Vij
He said that the work of Covid vaccination is going on rapidly in the state and so far more than 3 crore 67 lakh vaccine have been administered to the beneficiaries, out of which the first dose is more than 2 crore 14 lakh 20 thousand and the second dose is 1 crore 52 lakh 82 thousand vaccine have been administered to beneficaries. He said that at present 13937 covid cases are active in the state, out of which 10324 are in home isolation. Further, only 23 Omicron cases are active while 100 Omicron patients have been discharged. The Health Minister said that although the corona infection is increasing rapidly, but there is not much number of infected patients in the hospitals.
In view of the increasing cases of corona in the country, Vij is now taking stock of the health services himself
It is noteworthy that Sh. Vij is now personally taking stock of the health services in view of the increasing cases of corona in the country. In this episode, he took stock of the PSA Oxygen Plant in the Civil Hospital, Sector-6, Panchkula, and got it operated himself. Similarly, he also visited Fatehabad last month and inquired about health facilities like PSA Oxygen Plant, Ventilator etc. in Civil Hospital, Fatehabad and gave necessary directions regarding their operation to the officers present.
So far, 84 PSA oxygen plants in government hospitals/medical colleges and 54 oxygen plants have been established in private hospitals in the state- Vij
According to Sh. Vij, there was a problem of oxygen in the last wave of Corona. For this reason it was decided to install PSA oxygen plants in all the hospitals. So far, 84 PSA oxygen plants have been installed in government hospitals and medical colleges of the state, while 54 oxygen plants are installed in private hospitals. Haryana is becoming self-sufficient in terms of oxygen. Apart from this, ventilators, oxygen concentrators and other equipment are also available in sufficient quantity.
Second Genome Sequencing Lab will be established in the state- Vij
According to Health Minister Sh. Anil Vij, the state's second genome sequencing lab will be set up in Panchkula. With the establishment of a lab in Panchkula, there will be one lab at both ends of the state. Earlier a lab has been set up in Rohtak.
