Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur presided over a State Working Committee and Training programme organised by BJP Mahila Morcha on 8th December, 2021. Chief Minister said that 50 percent of the society comprises of women population and to achieve any aim it is important to work in coordination with Women. Girls and Women have excelled in every sphere and have made immense contribution in every sector of the society. He said that it is impossible to make anykind of achievement without the support of women.CM said that to strengthen the party it is vital to provide a platform to women as well. In 1980 when BJP was constituted at that time the leaders decided to constitute yuva morcha, women morcha, Kisan morcha. Etc, so that better leadership could be provided and these important sectors of the society could be strengthened.He expressed happiness that the Mahila Morcha has excelled and worked with determination for upliftment of women and have strengthened the party. BJP party is the biggest political party and mahila morcha of the party are moving ahead rapidly.
He said that mahila morcha has always shown active participation in every event and sector. He said that Mahila Morcha of Himachal is the most active section of the Party. In 2007, when BJP government was formed the first decision taken by the then government was to give 50 percent seats to women in Panchayati Raj Institutions, to empower women of the state. The women have fulfilled all the responsibilities, therefore it is important to provide opportunities to women. The future of Mahila morcha is bright in the coming years, he said. He laid emphasis on strengthening the party, with joint coordination.He said that imparting training and organising workshops for workers was vital alongwith motivating the workers to work with commitment. He urged to work in unison to achieve the motive of the party. The BJP government is a party with determined mindset and has always fulfilled its commitment, viz. Abrogation of article 370, bhumi poojan of ayodhaya temple at Ram Janam Bhoomi and abolishing of Tripple talak.He also spoke on developing leadership amongst women, which was possible only through training. He also shared his experiences of early political journey of his life and said that little experiences of life groom the person to be a good leader.
