Information Education Communication (IEC) activities for spreading awareness about Apni Zameen Apni Nigrani were organized in different schools of District Udhampur, here today. A team of Officers comprising ADDC, Kanta Devi; Regional Director Survey and Land Records, Nawab Din;ADC, Mohd Syed Khan; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Viqar Giri; Dy DEO, Dr Shavi visited various Blocks of the district and inspected the IEC activities on the ground level. They generated awareness among common masses about the benefits of ‘Apni Zameen Apni Nigrani’ (Azan) initiative launched by the Centre and UT Government for the welfare of public at large. They appealed to the public to avail the benefits of the initiative by availing easy access to their land record on designated portal. Meanwhile, Educational Institutions of the District Udhampur celebrated Janjatiya Gaurav Divas in which heads of the institutions threw light on the importance of the day.
