The Director, Land Records Modernization Programme, Mohammad Hafiz today visited Shopian and convened a meeting of revenue officers to bring transparency and efficiency in the Land Records Information System (LRIS).During the meeting, the Director instructed the concerned to raise awareness among the people regarding the Land Records Portal under "Aapki zameen, Aapki Nigrani".In his address, the Director impressed upon concerned officers to initiate a vigorous IEC campaign throughout the district so that every person in the district could get knowledge of Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme.He further added that the Land Record information can be logged at http landrecords.jk.gov.in to facilitate the people of the district so that they can check their documents regarding land and add to their knowledge about the know-how of land records facility. The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Tehsildars and other officers and officials of Revenue Department.
