The 132nd birth centenary of India's first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was celebrated here today by Congress workers at the local Jagraon Bridge under the leadership of Punjab State Industries Development Corporation Chairman Krishan Kumar Bawa. Mr. Sandeep Sandhu in-charge of Dakha Assembly constituency, Mr. Pawan Diwan Chairman PLIDB, Mr. Nirmal Singh Kaira President Punjab Congress Seva Dal, Ms. Lina Taparia President Women Congress Ludhiana urban,Satwinder jawaddi,Deepak Hans,Rohit Pahwa,Ravinder Verma, Resam Singh Sagu also participated in this occasion. Mr. Bawa and a convoy of Congress workers laid wreaths at the statues of Shaheed Azam Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev before marching towards the southern constituency against the anti-people policies of the Modi government. Congress workers had anti-Modi slogans in their hands. On which it was written that the Modi government which mortgaged the Red Fort was dead. All three anti-farmer laws should be withdrawn. Congress workers expressed anger by burning pictures of Modi government in Lohara area of the southern constituency. 

Congress leader Kirsan Kumar Bawa, who was leading the Arthi Fook protest, strongly supported the demands of the protesting industrialists outside the United Bicycle Parts Association and declared that the Punjab government and the Congress party stood by them. Bawa said that Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru had built India for development and given Punjab Bhakra Dam and Punjab Agricultural University. AIIMS was established to treat people from all walks of life. Incumbent Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sold out the country. What could be a greater tragedy for the country than the Modi government's decision to sell out the public sector, including railways, BSNL, airports, while the pro-national groups are adamantly opposed to these anti-national policies of the Modi government? Are doing He said that for the last one year the country's benefactor has been on the streets of Delhi demanding repeal of anti-farmerlaws. But the Modi government is adamant. Bawa said that Modi government has become a puppet in the hands of Ambani and Adani. Today, with the entire public sector of the country being handed over to these two big businessmen, the country is once again being pushed towards slavery. Which is a matter of concern. He said that inflation in Modi government had broken all records till date. Sources of income have remained limited while inflation has spiraled out of control. Due to which the budget of every household has been shaken. He said that people all over the country still remember the government of Dr. Manmohan Singh who with his wisdom brought India out.
