Deputy Commissioner Reasi Charandeep Singh took an initiative to provide free Travel Passes to 25 Girl students of Higher Secondary School Mahore hailing  from far-off areas of the Sub-Division.Charandeep Singh said that this initiative is to facilitate the students to avail concession in travel fare  while pursuing studies in different institutions.The programme was organised by T.S.Billawaria,  Principal HSS Mahore in collaboration with Rajesh Gupta, ARTO Reasi.

Besides this, a road safety awareness programme was also conducted in the School to educate the students about traffic rules for their safety while driving, specifically while riding two wheelers.The ARTO also distributed Masks and Sanitizers among the students & educated them about safety measures against Covid.Meanwhile, an awareness programme on traffic rules was also conducted for Drivers and Conductors at Dak Banglow Mahore.During this awareness programme, Rajesh Gupta advised the Drivers to give students concession in the fare and also directed them not to overcharge the general public and also refrain from overloading  and rash driving.
