Judicial institutions across Jammu division organised Prabhat Pharies and legal awareness outreach camps to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahaotsave.DLSA Rajouri:  District Legal Services Authority Rajouri in collaboration with Nehru Yuva Kendra organised District Level Plogging Run under Clean India campaign and as part of Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav from District Court Complex to Tariq Bridge Rajouri this formally launching Clean India Program in the District. The run was flagged off by Madan Lal Bhagat, Principal District and Sessions Judge and Chairman DLSA Rajouri. Among others present in the program were   Surinder Thapa, Secretary DLSA Rajouri, Nitin Hangloo DYO NYK Rajouri, Vikrant Sharma National Youth Awardee and State Level Resource Person NYKS J&K.Scores of youth from different corners of the District participated and carried out Cleanliness Drive amid chanting of the slogans of Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat. The youth wearing hand gloves collected waste including single-use plastic waste in biodegradable polybags. Paying tributes to Bapu Ji, Principal District Sessions Judge said that Cleanliness was the message of the life of Mahatma Gandhi and ‘we must adopt Cleanliness and Swachhta as part of our daily lives and this will be a true tribute to the Father of the Nation.’ He thanked the Nehru Yuva Kendra Team for organising the program and expressed hope that such events would be carried out in the future also.DLSA Doda ( Bhaderwah) took out a Prabhat Pheri in Bhaderwah town to celebrate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. In the Prabhat Pheri Secretary DLSA Bhaderwah, Mudasir Farooq along with PLVs, Panel Lawyers & Officials of the Court visited the streets of Bhaderwah town along with banners. Later, the legal awareness outreach programme(Pan India) was launched in the District Court Complex Bhaderwah under the supervision & guidance of Virinder Singh Bhou, Chairman District Legal Service Authority Bhaderwah.ADC Bhaderwah, Rakesh Kumar, ASP Bhaderwah,Ab. Qayoom, SMM Bhaderwah,Munish Kumar Manhas, Secretary District Legal Service Authority Bhaderwah, Mudasir Farooq, Panel Lawyers, PLVs, Staff members of the Court, Officials of Municipality Bhaderwah, Media Persons and other Local people were present.

DLSA Kishtwar:  District Legal Services Authority Kishtwar today started  Pan India outreach campaign as a part of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” here at District Court Complex, besides at various Panchayats  of the District, under the supervision of its Chairman  Y.P. Kotwal. The campaign was started from District Court Kishtwar by paying homage and tributes to the Father of Nation on his birth anniversary. Earlier, a Prabhat Pheri was also taken out in the wee hours.Imran Wani, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Kishtwar, Y.P. Sharma, Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee, Mahjabeen Akhter Munsiff, Panel Lawyers, Functionaries of District Administration, Police Officials, Students of various educational institutions of District Kishtwar and PLVs participated in the Campaign amid  playing of Patriotic songs and messages of Father of Nation.A cleanliness drive was also carried out by Municipal Staff and PLV's across District Kishtwar.DLSA REASI: In Compliance with the directions of  National Legal Services Authority (NALSA)  and under the leadership of Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey,  Executive Chairman Legal Services Authority UT of J&K and also under the supervision and guidance of   R.N. Watal Chairman  District Legal Services Authority Reasi, District Legal Services Authority Reasi today launched  PAN India Awareness and Outreach Campaign by organizing Prabhat Pheri in District Head Quarter Reasi with the assistance of Panel Lawyers and PLVs of District Reasi and also in collaboration with Incharge District Nodal Officer, Cultural Cell, Reasi and Faculty Members and Students of Govt. High Sec. School (Boys) Reasi.This Prabhat Pheri was started from District Head Quarter Reasi after paying floral tributes to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi on his Birth Anniversary and it culminated near the Ganesh Temple Main Bazar, Reasi.DLSA Reasi also organized another Legal Awareness Program at Government Middle School Gran, Reasi under PAN India Awareness and Outreach Campaign.DLSA Udhampur:   District Legal Services Authority Udhampur today launched the legal awareness campaign under the aegis of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” here in the District Court Complex and paid floral tributes to the Father of the Nation on his 152nd birth anniversary.

A Prabhat Pheri was also organised  wherein Placards for Legal Awareness were also displayed. All   Panels Lawyers and PLVs, besides Principal BharityaVidyaMandir  Renudogra along with students participated in the said programmes.Similar  programmes were also held by TLSC Chenani, TLSC Majalata and TLSC Ramnagar at their respective places. Interacting with the Panel Lawyers and the PLVs, Chairman DLSA Udhampur   Y.P. Bourney (Pr. District & sessions judge) and Secretary, DLSA, Rajni Sharma (Sub- Judge) impressed upon them  to work closely with DLSA to make “Azadi ka AmritMahotsav “Campaign a success.DLSA RAMBAN: District Legal Services Authority Ramban in compliance to directions of the NLSA and JK LSA,  launched PAN India Awareness and outreach campaign under the Chairmanship of Chairman DLSA (Pr. Distt. & Sessions Judge) Haq Nawaz Zargar. On the occasion Inaugural programme  of legal awareness was held at district headquarter Ramban which was  attended by Additional District & Session Judge Fast Track Court   Surinder Singh; Secretary DLSA Pooja Gupta;  President Bar Association Ramban along with bar members, judicial  staff members of all the Courts,  and a number of students.The programme started with singing of   National Anthem.   The speakers lauded the role of NLSA and J&K LSA in educating all sections of the society, providing Legal Services to the weaker Sections   by a huge network of PLVs and legal services institutions.Similar  programmes  of legal awareness were  held at Batote under the chairmanship of Tehsil Legal Services Committee  (Sub- Judge) chairman,  Ramesh Lal;  Gool Tehsil head quarter under the chairmanship of Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee  Munsiff Gool,  Rohit Sharma;  Banihal Tehsil head quarter under the chairmanship of Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee Munsiff Banihal, Salooni and   at Ukhral Tehsil under the chairmanship of Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee  Munsiff Ukhral.  Anjeet Singh. These awareness programmes were attended by bar members and a large number of people.TLSC Bishnah on the directions of District legal services Authority Jammu, Chairman Tehsil legal services committee Bishnah , Ananta Raina on  the Eve of Azadi ka Amrut Mahautsav and Birthday Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi ji, launched PAN India awareness and outreach programme campaign.  A cleanliness drive under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was held in collaboration with Municipal committee at court complex Bishnah.A Parbhat Pheri was conducted across Tehsil Bishnah by displaying Placards on various legal services schemes. The programme was attended by the members of the Bar Association Bishnah, panel lawyers, the children of adjoining villages, Para legal volunteers and staff of TLSC Bishnah.
