DDC Kishtwar reviews achievements under RDD sector

Asks department to work in tandem with PRIs, youth clubs and other stakeholders for tangible results

The achievements under Rural Development Schemes were today reviewed   here at a meeting of department functionaries with the District Development Commissioner, Ashok Sharma in the chair.During the meeting block wise progress under 14th FC, SBM, Area Development Fund (District Capex) and B2V etc were reviewed by the DDC.The officers and officials of the Department were asked to work in tandem with the PRIs, youth clubs and other stakeholders to bring tangible results on ground level.Additional District Development Commissioner, Sham Lal; Joint Director Planning Mohammad Iqbal; Assistant Commissioner Development Kishore Singh Katoch; Assistant Commissioner Panchayat (ACP)  Zakir Hussain, District Panchayat Officer Sunil Bhutyal, besides BDOs and MIS operators attended the meeting.The DDC laid special thrust on the geo-tagging of 14th FC and other works and directed all the BDOs and field functionaries to expedite the updation exercise on MIS portal to avoid the unwanted repercussions.The DDC directed the concerned to revisit the list of beneficiaries under the IHHL programme on a rational basis.During the meeting the DPO Kishtwar apprised the house that the special gram sabhas are being conducted on October 2, 2021 which shall focus on formulation of annual plan for next fiscal year, conduct sanitation drive and awareness programmes regarding various central sponsored Schemes etc.
