Deputy Commissioner, Reasi Charandeep Singh today flagged off a Poshan Maah rally organised by ICDS Department.PO ICDS Renu Kumari, CDPO Reasi, Supervisors AWW, AWH and children took part in this rally. Charandeep Singh highlighted the significance and importance of observing of the Poshan Maah and also hoped that through the rally the message of good nutrition reaches out to the masses.The DC emphasized that the main objective of organizing this awareness rally is to sensitize the common masses about the nutritional status of children of 0-6-year age and lactating mothers.A Poshan Palki carrying Fruits, Vegetables, Pulses and other Nutrition items was carried by AWWs which gives a message to eat Nutritious food to fight against malnutrition.Children were holding Poshan Matkas containing Poshan items to convey the message to be healthy and strong by choosing right food.The event concluded with felicitation of children who participated in the rally.
