1421 works proposed under Capex plan in Doda

A whopping 1421 works have been proposed for execution under current year Capex Plan in this mountainous district.Of 1421 works, 867 have been accorded Administrative approval and 808 stand tendered, while 107 more works are being allotted in next few days.The information was given at a meeting of line departments and executing agencies chaired by District Development Commissioner (DDC), Vikas Sharma convened to review the progress of tendering process of Capex works approved under PRI grants.Taking strong note of delay in administrative approval of some works, the DDC directed the ACD to expedite the process and complete the process by Monday.

While reviewing the department wise tendering status, the DDC asked the planning section to seek explanation from the Executive Engineer PHE Gandoh for poor performance in tendering of works. The DDC directed the SE JPDCL to expedite the Technical sanction by mobolising the Executive Engineers and to accord the administrative approval of all the works for timely completion.While reviewing the pending estimation of PRI grant works, the DDC directed the ACD to submit the list of non performing JEs/TAs to his office for initiating strict action  against them. He further asked the ACD to monitor the progress on a daily basis of the PRI grant works.The meeting was attended by SE JPDCL Kishtwar-Doda, CPO, ACD, AC Panchayats, Executive Engineer, PDD, EX en REW, EX en PHE Doda & Gandoh, AD Planning DC office, besides AEE's were also present.
