DC Ramban listens to issues of trader community

Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Mussarat Islam Thursday met with the President of Beopar Mandal, Ved Bushan and discussed issues related to the trader community and businessmen in the district.The DC also discussed the modalities to tackle the menace of stray animals which often lead to traffic congestion besides creating multiple problems for the general public, especially shopkeepers.Additional Deputy Commissioner, Harbans Lal; ACR Dherinder Sharma; CAHO Dr. Bharat Bushan; Tehsildar Ramban, Rafiq Ahmed; EO MC,  and other concerned attended the meeting.  Besides directing CAHO to put tags on all stray animals, the DC also directed Tehsildsar to identify and provide a suitable chunk of land to the Municipal Council, to establish a shed for stray animals.

The DC further directed the  Municipal authorities to identify suitable parking space in the township to overcome the problem of roadside parking. He said to regulate vehicular traffic Batote, Banihal and Ramban towns have already been declared “No Parking Zones.”Traffic authorities were also asked to station the tow vehicle   in district Ramban to deal with unauthorized parking menace.Besides expressing his gratitude to the District Administration for fulfilling their demands highlighted by them in last meetings, the President Beopar Mandal Ramban raised the issue regarding shortage of potable water supply in some areas of the town.
