District Administration Poonch today organised the weekly Block Diwas meeting here at Dak Bungalow Loran, under the supervision of District Development Commissioner, Inder Jeet.DDC Member, Block Loran, Riaz Naz Chowdhary, BDC Chairperson Loran, Shamim Akhter, Senior Superintendent of Police, Dr.Vinod Kumar, CEO Tourism, Dr. Mohd. Tanveer, ACD Poonch, Rajesh Lakhan, ACP Poonch & other district officers/sectoral officers along with PRIs and general public of Block loran were present.The PRIs of Block Loran raised various issues /grievances. The main issues raised were regarding scarcity of potable drinking water in the adjoining hamlets, poor road connectivity etc. They also demanded early completion of Loran to Tangmarg road, Brachar to Markote Road, Lohilbelah to Naganari road, sanction of additional Food Supply Depot at Arigam and Dargam Sib Loran, reopening of Awass+ website for inclusion of PMAY left out cases.The Deputy Commissioner gave a patient hearing and assured early redressal of genuine demands. He also issued necessary directions to the concerned departments wherever required.
