Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Ramban, Harbans Lal Sharma today conducted spot inspection of the four-laning work on Ramban-Banihal stretch of NH-44. He inspected several vulunurable sites as directed by the Administrative Secretary Ramban at today’s meeting.The ADC inspected the protection measures taken on the accident prone stretches, including installation of crash barriers and parapets construction. He directed the construction agencies to accelerate the pace of work to complete the work of installation of crash barriers and parapets to prevent road accidents.He also visited the T2 tunnel at Seri Marog and inspected the pace of work.The Assistant Regional Transport Officer was asked to take measures for effective regulation of vehicular movement along vulnerable stretches to prevent any mishap.
