Chairperson, District Development Council Poonch, Tazim Akhter today chaired a meeting of officers to review Mission Youth activities launched in the district. She discussed the measures taken to mobilize the youth for availing the beneficiary oriented schemes introduced under the Mission.Additional District Development Commissioner, Abdul Sattar gave a detailed presentation about the activities to be conducted simultaneously by all youth clubs, covering all departments and schedules for such activities.It was informed that the awareness programme will be conducted from tomorrow onwards.The DDC Chairperson directed the concerned officers to create awareness among the youth about the self employment schemes so that they can avail the benefits of the same. DDC Vice Chairperson, Ashfaq Choudhary also stressed on channelizing the energy of youth in the right direction.Assistant Commissioner Development, Rajesh Lakhan, General Manager DIC, Dr. Zakir, CEO Tourism, Dr. Mohd. Tanveer, Assistant Director employment, Abid Husssain Shah, Chief Horticulture Officer, AD Food, besides other concerned officers were also present in the meeting.
