The District Rent Assessment Committee, which met here today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Sharma, approved rent fixation of 28 buildings taken on rent by different government departments.The rent cases which were discussed in the committee and approved were pertaining to the Police, Army, IB, Social Welfare, Education, ISM, Health, CAPD and Finance.The DC directed the Committee members to conduct the title verification of all the fresh assessments at the earliest, besides asking the planning section to add fresh and revised entries for the better understanding of the Committee members henceforth.The meeting was attended by ADC Doda, SE PWD, CPO Doda, ASP Doda, ACR Doda, CMO Doda, Dy. Director Prosecution, CAO, Chief Accounts Officer GP Fund, DSWO, ADMO ISM, Ex En PWD, besides other officers of various departments including Revenue and Army.
