As a part of the celebration of  Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav  (India@75), District Information Centre Udhampur in collaboration with Cultural Wing, Jammu  organized theme based  cultural programmes here at Divyang Sewa Ashram Udhampur.Divyang Ashram Trustee, Pritipal Singh was the chief guest on the occasion.Artists of DIC Udhampur and Cultural Wing, Jammu presented scintillating cultural programme based on Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav and Covid-19 Appropriate behaviour which was highly appreciated by the audience with round of applause.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest stressed the need for sensitizing the people about the Corona virus disease. He appreciated the efforts of Information Department for creating awareness by the medium of cultural programme. He added that such awareness generation programme is the most potent tool in combating COVID-19.While highlighting the significance of  Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav event. He said that the main aim of celebrating this programme is to celebrate the glory and progress which India achieved in 75 years.Among others, Dr.Rajinder Singh, Captan Angrez Singh, Shanker Singh, Shivani Abrol, Anisha Batyal, Rajinder Singh  including Artists of Information Department Mohinder Kumar, Amit Kumar and Rakesh Kumar were also present on the occasion.
